In 1959 he graduated from Baylor Dental College with a DDS degree. From 1959 to 1961 Dr. White served in the United States Air Force. He returned to Baylor Dental College to receive a MSD degree in Orthodontics in 1968. In 1988, Dr. White received the International College of Dentists Golden Scroll Award es editor of the most improved dental journal in dental literature (The Rocky Mountain Orthodontic Newsletter). He is now an associate editor for the World Journal of Orthodontics and contribuing editor for the Orthodontic Cyber Journal. He currently practices orthodontics in DeSoto, TX and serves as an adjunct professor of orthodontics at Baylor Dental College in Dallas, TX.
